Way Out West is a music festival in Göteborg, Sweden with rock, indie, and alternative acts from both Sweden and the international scene. The festival is held in Slottsskogen, a large beautiful park in the centre of Göteborg. For two days the park is home to two outdoor stages, an indoor stage and a buzzing festival atmosphere.
Way Out West also hosts a a number of club nights spread around the city during with both live music and DJ's.
Getting to Göteborg
It's easy to get to Göteborg by air, rail, bus or ferry. The airport closest to the festival is Göteborg City Airport. If you fly to Stockholm/Arlanda, it's a 3 hour trip by train to Göteborg. Have a look at SJ for train tickets.
With the tram or bus, it's 15 minutes from the central station in Göteborg to the festival site in Slottsskogen. Visit Västtrafik for information about local travelling.

Fredrik-WayOutWest, 16 jun 13:29: the festival starts the 7th with clubs in the city. the 8th and 9th will the the main area (slottsskogen) be open. There will be no way out west activity/clubs sunday the 10th. the schedule will be announced later on.
