Meet the world at Korsvägen! The Museum of World Culture is an exciting venue showcasing everything from exhibitions on global issues to adventures for the whole family. The globalization is discussed here and how we look on eachother.
In this award-winning building, you'll experience a mixture of international architecture, contemporary art, deep seriousity and exciting activities. The museum works with temporary exhibitions seen in an international perspective. Besides, the museum has a rich programme with everything from film and theatre to seminars, festivals and performances.
Current exhibitions include the global photo project A Day in the World, until August 25, and Secret Love, a unique exhibition of Chinese contemporary art on the theme of taboo love from April 27 – December.
Tabla Café and restaurant serves lunch, 3-course and buffets from all over the world.
The magnificent building was designed by London based architects Cécile Brisac and Edgar Gonzales.
The Museum of World Culture has one star in the Michelin Green Guide.
Price:
Free admission with Gothenburg City Card. At exhibitions with an increased fee, you only pay the difference.
Ordinary prices:
Adult: annual pass SEK 40.
Children and youth: admission is free up to the age of 19.
