PEOPLE AND SHIPS have come to Gothenburg’s harbour for centuries; to load and unload, trade, find a job or start a company. Many visitors stayed to set up home and the harbour, ships and seamanship remain important parts in life in the region.
It’s easy to get around by tram, bus or boat. The Gothenburg Pass includes free travel on public transport. The city centre is only 20 min from the city’s two international airports.
LOCAL TRANSPORT– TRAM, BUS AND BOAT
