Gothenburg Image Bank is intended for use by members of the press who produce travel and tourism reports about Gothenburg in an editorial context. A selection of promotional images can be used by foreign tour operators in marketing Gothenburg as a destination, and by organisers of congresses and other events who work in partnership with Göteborg & Co.

Press images
The images are intended solely for the use of the press in connection with editorial articles on Gothenburg as a destination. They may not be used for commercial purposes (advertisements for individual products or services), or in dedicated advertising publications and customer magazines.

Promotion images
A smaller number of images are provided for use by foreign tour operators and by organisers of congresses and other events who work in partnership with Göteborg & Co.

Rules for using images:
The photographer’s name must be published (in the form: goteborg.com/NN). Images are not intended for personal use and may not be used for commercial purposes (advertisements for individual products or services).

No image may be manipulated or modified without the consent of the photographer. Consent is also required if the image is to be used in combination with other images (as a montage) in such a way that it may be seen as a new image.

Responsibility for the publication of images always lies with the user. If the rules for using images are not followed the user may subsequently be billed directly by the photographer.

It may take a day or so to get approval to use to the Image Bank. Göteborg & Co reserves the right to decide at its own discretion who is assigned a password.

Photographers always retain copyright for their images, but we are happy to pass on contact details for our photographers.
