Who is responsible?
The seller has a duty to ensure that:
– you receive the necessary travel documents.
– you are informed of all essential changes that affect your booking.
– the supplier(s) are paid for the services you have bought.
When does my booking become binding?
Your booking becomes a binding undertaking by you as soon as it is confirmed verbally or in writing by the seller, and these terms apply from that moment, regardless of whether you have paid for the arrangement in part or in full or not at all.
When must I pay?
The customer must pay the package price by the date given in the conditions below. Göteborg & Co may not demand full payment earlier than detailed below.
Private customer: the customer pays by credit card, the amount will be debited immediately at the time of booking.
Online: the hotel is to be paid for immediately at the time of booking and solely by credit card. The website uses full encryption (SSL 128 bits), so that customers can safely enter their personal details and card information.
What happens if I do not pay in time?
You face the risk that the seller will cancel the arrangement and charge you a cancellation fee as detailed below. If this does not happen you will have to reimburse the seller for all the costs he has incurred in the form of fees to suppliers, etc.
What happens if I want to cancel?
You can make a cancellation verbally or in writing to Göteborg & Co. The cancellation should be made at latest 17.00 the day before arrival, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee of SEK 160. If the customer has not cancelled the hotel by 17.00 on the day before arrival or if there is a now show, he or she will be charged for the first night’s hotel stay. If you are detained at short notice and outside office hours, you can cancel the hotel by contacting the hotel directly, but in such a case you must inform the seller within two weeks. A refund cannot be guaranteed if cancellation has been made directly to the hotel. Note that changes in the day of arrival or departure are regarded as cancellation.
