Bekk opened its doors for the first time on the street Linnégatan in 2015. Unfortunately, the restaurant shut down just a year later. But now, Bekk is back stronger than ever with a brand new concept – Slow-Fast-Food.
The menu features chicken, lamb and vegetarian kebabs. Behind the restaurant is the chef and restaurateur, Niclas Yngvesson (one half of the duo behind Bhoga and The Publican). Niclas describes Bekk's menu as fast food, but better made and states that anyone who likes good, simple food with high quality ingredients and no fuss will love Bekk. He adds that they also make fabulous milkshakes.
– We make milkshakes like my grandmother made them; with milk, lots of ice cream and with some whipped cream on top.
For dessert you can have both pecan pie with ice cream or chocolate cream with meringue and ice cream.
