Rosenkaféet is an oasis in the middle of the city. It is located in the Garden Society's oldest building (Trädgårdsförening) dating back to 1874. From May to October, Rosenkaféet offers traditional Swedish fare in old-fashioned surroundings. Only first rate produce is used here and the emphasis is on cooking good healthy food.
The Garden Society (Trädårdgföreningen) dates back to 1842 and is Sweden's oldest public park. The park is typical 19th century and is now listed. Besides the building housing Rosenkaféet, there is also a barn, room for carriages, a hay loft and a workshop.
Fully licensed. Organises parties and wedding receptions.
