Restaurant Familjen is a modern brasserie with a clearly west coast influence. The atmosphere is very friendly and the ambition in the kitchen is on a really high level.
Familjen serves a 3 course dinner every night based on the best ingredients from the western part of Sweden. Small tapas sized courses based on the classic Swedish cuisine are also served. You do not need a large budget for visiting Familjen, the prices are very moderate. Reservations in one part of the restaurant and in the other it's just to drop in. During summertime one of Gothenburg’s most popular outdoor terraces is hosted here.
