The Aquarium offers something for everybody with an interest in the sea, people and navigation. The exhibitions at the Maritime Museum of Göteborg tell 400 years of maritime history. Themes include pirates past and present, life at sea, the Swedish American Line and much more.
The museum also offer historic city walks and a cosy café. The aquarium is many of the visitors’ favourite attraction, where the whole family can explore Scandinavian and tropical marine environments and fascinating animal species. You can get really close to some of the animals in our special close encounters tank.
