    With Gothenburg City Card you can travel smoothly and free in all public transport in Gothenburg and the neighboring municipalities.


    Tickets are sold at Västtrafik customer service in Brunnsparken at Drottningtorget and the Nils Ericson Terminal. The ticket can be bought at the tram onboard vending machine as well as at the Pressbyrå and 7-Eleven stores. You can not buy a ticket directly from the driver.

    Free with City Card

    The City Card entitles you to free travel on buses, trams, trains and archipelago boats in and around Gothenburg. Just show the card to the driver.

    Free travel with the City Card in: Ale, Alingsås, Bollebygd, Göteborg, Härryda, Kungsbacka, Kungälv, Lerum, Lilla Edet, Mark, Mölndal, Orust, Partille, Stenungsund, Tjörn and Öckerö. Night traffic in the above areas and routes. To validate: Write date, time and a signature on the card. If you have questions about travel routes, visit Västtrafik at Drottningtorget, Brunnsparken or the Nils Ericsons Terminalen, or call customer service on +46 771 41 43 00.
