Discover Klippan in December, 30 November – 17 December

Klippan’s cultural reserve by the Älvsborg Bridge invites you to an exciting mix of artistic and creative activities. All in a tasteful combination with hotels, restaurants and cafes, right by the water. Christmas walk on Kössö, 1 December

Celebrate the first Advent on Köpstadsö in Gothenburg’s southern archipelago with, among other things, local handicrafts, Christmas flowers and Kössö honey. Above the hill that leads up from the boat jetty, you will find the island’s old schoolhouse where you can step into the warmth, browse through pictures and stories from the history of the school and the island, and not least pick up a map for the Christmas walk.

On the first Saturday of every month, the Västra Nordstan area opens up and invites Gothenburgers and visitors to a lovely neighborhood party. Here you can explore the creative studios of artists and artisans, enjoy good food and drink at charming restaurants, cafes and food trucks. The city’s hidden places are showcased while live bands and DJs set the mood with beautiful music.

Christmas Market Premiere on the East Indiaman Götheborg, 7 – 15 December

The East Indiaman Götheborg opens the gates to an 18th-century-inspired Christmas market! Come and have a coffee on a cosy cannon deck with a scent of mulled wine and tar and take the opportunity to make the last purchases before Christmas at the Christmas market. There will be activities for children and adults both on board the ship and also on the pier.
