Feskekörka has been an iconic destination in Gothenburg since 1874 and is now reopening after renovation. It offers a modern market hall with fish counters, new restaurants, bars, events and a large outdoor terrace overlooking Vallgraven. The classic Fiskekrogen, located in the historic Wijkska house from 1853 at Lilla Torget, has been serving fish and seafood classics such as seafood platter, turbot and red sole since 1972. Choose between a menu package with wine suggestions or à la carte.

In the middle of Götaplatsen, at the top of Avenyn, lies Gothenburg Museum of Art, one of Sweden’s foremost museums for Nordic art from the turn of the century, with works from the 15th century to the present day, including international masterpieces. Six restaurants in Gothenburg have been awarded one or two stars in the Michelin Guide.
