In spring 2023, the audience packed the auditorium to experience the incomparable staged artwork 12 Songs. It combines seriousness and folly, dance cascades and poetry, universal longing and curious joy. Ane Brun performs live on stage throughout the performance, together with GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, the Göteborg Opera Orchestra and guest musicians.

12 Songs is paired with a world premiere by Sharon Eyal, whose creations feature mesmerising dance with strong attitude and hypnotic, pulsating power. Sharon Eyal and GöteborgsOperans Danskompani are a love match that tours worldwide. SAABA, their previous collaboration, has made acclaimed guest appearances in places including London, Paris, Sydney and Seoul since its world premiere in 2021.
