Experience a city in motion, dramatic stories and iconic objects in four permanent exhibitions about Gothenburg’s history at the Museum of Gothenburg. A journey through time, from the mystery of the medieval silver heart to the world’s first Volvo.
The exhibition lap through Gothenburg’s 400-year history begins in the 1600s and the popular exhibition The Birth of Gothenburg – and ends in our present time with the exhibition The Thing about Gothenburg.
The exhibitions through 400 years can be found on the 2nd floor of the museum and can be experienced on your own.
