About the exhibition
A bloody history is above all about the giving of blood to save life, but also blood as a symbol, in faith and magic, as medicine and about the function of the blood in the body. In this way a bloody history is created.
The exhibition is a collaboration between The Medical History Museum and GeBlod, Clinical Immunology and Transfusion Medicine at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
Vernissage
The new exhibition at The Medical History Museum opens on October 25. During the day, staff from GeBlod will be on site and you can ask questions about donating blood and how you might be able to become a blood donor. Between 13:00–14:00 you can take a test to find out your blood type.
