Uncompromising, majestic and born for the stage, Adept performs metalcore at its most intense. With an unrelenting blend of aggression and melody, the Swedish band has for more than two decades carved out a sound that not only hits hard, but sparks a fire. From the chaos of the mosh pit to the emotional weight of the lyrics, Adept creates music that must be felt.
They exploded onto the scene with Another Year of Disaster and forged their own path through modern metalcore with the brutal Death Dealers and the cinematic force of Silence the World. Their latest full-length album Sleepless pushed things even further, cementing their status as one of Sweden’s most electrifying metal exports.
Adept was formed in a garage in Trosa in 2004 by a group of friends united by heavy music. Early demos and relentless live shows quickly put them on the map, leading to their 2009 debut Another Year of Disaster – an album that laid the foundation for their characteristic sound.
What began locally soon grew into an international force. From small club stages to venues around the world, and two decades later, the same fire still burns from that very first spark.
