Their lyrics draw inspiration from dark fantasy and sci-fi – not least the iconic manga Berserk – and on stage the music transforms into pure explosions of light, energy and showmanship. Their breakthrough came with the video Blind and Frozen, which has amassed over 50 million views on YouTube.
Beast In Black was formed in 2015 by guitarist and songwriter Anton Kabanen, formerly of Battle Beast. Their debut album Berserker (2017) and follow-up From Hell With Love (2019) both went platinum in Finland and established the band as a rising force within metal. With their third album Dark Connection (2021), they once again topped the charts and filled venues across the world, from Europe to Japan and North and South America.
