Behind de clair is singer-songwriter Clara Rudelius from Karlshamn, an artist whose strong yet vulnerable voice carries her music with rare presence. She started playing guitar at the age of ten and soon found her way to the old out-of-tune piano in her family’s living room. Early influences like Nico, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Björk later shaped her own writing and production.
The result is a subtle yet powerful sound: minimalist indie/alternative folk where fragile arrangements meet open, sometimes provocative lyrics about injustice, friendship, memory and love.
Her debut hiding mountains in the palm of my hand (2024) earned her the “Newcomer of the Year” award and international acclaim.
