The performance on 21 August begins with a short opening ceremony for the Dance and Theatre Festival on stage, immediately followed by Entre Chiens et Louves.
After the performance on 21 August, the audience is warmly invited to celebrate the festival’s opening in the Foyer Bar.

The festival opens with an explosive inauguration where circus pushes beyond its boundaries and becomes pure storytelling art. A historical epic in which breathtaking acrobatics, dance, and theatre meet and stretch across time, memory, and dream. The lives of three characters intertwine across three different time periods: 1870, 1960, and 2022.

Entre Chiens et Louves offers grand visual tableaux and intimate moments within a set design built as three rooms, where the story moves both horizontally and vertically. The scenography consists of three interconnected rooms stacked on top of one another, resembling an opened dollhouse. This is a circus that moves across floors, walls, doors, and different levels, transforming the set into a space for both drama and dizzying acrobatics. We witness a love duet performed in handstands and a ballroom scene where dance transforms into acrobatics. It is cool, daring, raw, and beautiful all at once.

With a deeply human perspective, the performance portrays a world filled with passion. In a unique fusion of circus and dance, we encounter destinies woven together into a larger story about freedom, revolution, love, and the forces that shape us as a society and as individuals. It is a performance full of witty exchanges, emotional situations, and beautiful scenery that resonates as much through feeling as through aesthetics.
