From June 11 to July 19, the FIFA World Cup will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Across the world, fans will come together to follow the drama – and in Gothenburg, we’ll do it together at Ullevi Plaza and Ullevi.
In addition to giant-screen broadcasts, there will be entertainment, activities, and food and beverage on site. With free entry and no age limit a World Cup celebration awaits all of Gothenburg and anyone who wants to share the thrill of the tournament together.
First live big-screen broadcast: Sweden vs Tunisia
On the night leading into Monday, June 15, it’s time – Sweden enters the World Cup, and we kick off the football celebration at Ullevi Plaza with a live big-screen broadcast of the opening match against Tunisia.

Your host for the event is former Swedish national handball team player and SVT Sport expert Mikaela Mässing, who will guide us all the way from the pre-match build-up to the final whistle.
