Fit For An Autopsy

Get your mosh pit nerves ready because this winter, post-deathcore giants Fit For An Autopsy will be stopping by for their first ever headlining gig in Gothenburg!

Fit For An Autopsy has visited Sweden several times since their debut in 2011 but has until now only come by as support to Thy Art Is Murder and the latest in October 2023, but now it’s time for them to take the baton themselves and do their first own concerts in our country.

The band proves time and again that they have never stopped moving forward. From their 2011 debut with “The Process of Human Extermination” to Revolver naming “Absolute Hope, Absolute Hell” among “15 Essential Deathcore Albums” in 2015 to 2023, we continue to be impressed how they seamlessly blur the lines between technical metal virtuosity, hardcore intensity, melodic insidiousness and death metal.

There’s always a message and a purpose in their lyrics while being heavy, hard and melodic.

Or as Will Putney (guitarist and songwriter) nicely puts it –
“I always like it when aggressive music makes people think. Having a message is important to us. Maybe you reflect on what we’re saying, see how it applies to you and question some things. Or… maybe it’s just a soundtrack to vent some anger. That’s fine with me too.”
