The 2024 festival is truly a packed film celebration, where the whole family can enjoy exciting stories from around the world.

Theme: Robots and Rocketships

This year, Prisma is focusing a bit on the extraterrestrial. So join a venture out among twinkling stars, moon rovers, and curious robots. The festival kicks off with the premiere of The Wild Robot and offers a vibrant selection of exciting short films in Robots and Rocketships. Plus, there’s a chance to see the classic E.T. – The Extra-Terrestrial on the big screen!

Free Cinema at Nordstan

The success continues! Göteborg Film Festival Prisma is once again setting up a pop-up cinema at Nordstan. In collaboration with Nordstan and Film i Väst, Göteborg Film Festival Prisma will create a pop-up cinema, offering a selection of family films, all co-produced by Film i Väst. Visitors will be able to enjoy free films throughout the festival. Tickets are available 30 minutes before each screening—no advance booking required. The programme includes gems such as Tsatsiki, Mum and the Policeman, I Am Zlatan, Pelle No-Tail, and many more!
