Double distance, twice the fun

The Göteborgsvarvet Marathon is a unique challenge, allowing you to experience the roads and city centre of one of Scandinavia’s most beautiful and vibrant cities.

The marathon course passes many of Gothenburg’s finest places. Start is in Slottsskogen and finish at Slottsskogvallen. The course goes two different laps around town with parts of the classic Göteborgsvarvet as well as new path. The course offers charming and vibrant neighborhoods, bridges with fantastic views over Gothenburg’s harbor and archipelago and an extraordinary folk festival, welcome!
