Continental Series & Nordic Championships in XCO Mountainbike
Europe’s top mountain bike series comes to Gothenburg
On May 9–10 2026, Gothenburg takes centre stage in European mountain biking as CK Master hosts a round of the new and highly ranked UCI Continental Series. The race will take place on the Gothenburg MTB Race track in Skatås and will also serve as the official pre-European Championships ahead of the MTB European Championships (XCO/XCC) in 2027.
That Gothenburg and West Sweden have been selected to host an event at this level already the year before the Championships is a major achievement. The competition is expected to attract both rising stars and established elite cyclists from across Europe.
Gothenburg MTB Race 2026
This year’s edition will be one of the highlights of Swedish cycling. The programme includes:
- A Continental Series XCO round for Elite, U23 and Junior – the official “Pre-Euros”.
- Nordic Championships in XCO for Masters and youth classes.
