David Helbock is one of Europe’s most influential figures in modern jazz, acclaimed worldwide for his visionary approach and awarded multiple prizes at the Montreux Jazz Festival as well as Austria’s prestigious Outstanding Artist Award.

In his latest project, Helbock joins forces with Vienna-based electric bassist and cellist Julia Hofer. Known for her versatility, Hofer has also made a name for herself in the pop world through tours with No Angels and appearances on major German TV shows.

In autumn 2025, the duo released a new album on the internationally renowned ACT Music label. The album received rave reviews and was named one of the best jazz albums of 2025 by The Times (UK).
