Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo, globally known as the duo Icona Pop, are back with new music and a Nordic tour. This Friday sees the release of “Butterfly Feelings”, the third single from their upcoming album RITUAL, set for release in August. They will then take the new material on the road, with a series of Nordic dates in October and November.
The first half of 2026 has marked a strong comeback for Icona Pop. So far, the duo have released two acclaimed singles from the forthcoming album: the title track “Ritual” and the recent “Dance to This”. The new music blends Icona Pop’s signature club sound with themes of friendship, motherhood, healing and self‑discovery – all without losing the explosive energy that has made them one of Sweden’s biggest pop exports.
On May 13, Icona Pop kicked off the summer concert season with a sold‑out show at Trädgården in Stockholm. In early November, they will return to their hometown. Caroline and Aino went from being club kids in Stockholm to dominating clubs, arenas and festivals worldwide. Their major breakthrough came in 2012 with the “Billions Club”‑certified hit “I Love It” featuring Charli XCX – a track that has become an anthem for a whole generation.
