Danica Dakić – STENA DANICA

In the solo exhibition STENA DANICA with the artist Danica Dakić (b. 1962, Sarajevo), older artworks are juxtaposed with a new site-specific installation for the main exhibition space Katedralen (The Cathedral).

The work was inspired by the “Stena Danica” ferry, which shares its name with the artist. Together with the composer Bojan Vuletić, Dakić has created a composition based on the machine sounds from the ferry and the artist’s voice. The exhibited works are intertwined by their common theme, the journey, in both a symbolic and personal sense.

The exhibition is curated by Anja Bogojević and Amila Puzić.
