Inauguration of Färjenäsparken

Färjenäsparken is located at the foot of the Älvsborg Bridge, near the Eriksberg Crane on Norra Älvstranden. The park is currently being developed into a place for events and recreation, right next to the river and on the site of “the first Gothenburg”.

The expansion of Färjenäsparken should be completed in August 2023. The public opening is planned for the weekend of August 26-27 and more information about the programme will come soon.

On the same weekend, Eriksberg’s Harbour Festival is also organised with a grand Sail of Parade, open ships and activities on the quay.
