A colourful celebration of cats for the whole family
Organised by Västsvenska Kattklubben, the show offers two packed days with around 480 cats taking part each day. Discover long-haired, short-haired and curly-coated cats in solid, multicoloured, pointed, tipped and silver varieties – in more combinations than you might have thought possible. And, of course, much-loved household cats will also be there.
At the international cat show, the cats are judged by authorised judges according to breed standards and assessed on characteristics including type, coat, colour, temperament and condition. They compete for certificates and titles, while visitors can follow the judging, discover different cat breeds and meet fellow cat enthusiasts.
Ocicat special
This year also features a special event dedicated to the Ocicat, offering a unique opportunity to see many examples of the breed in one place. Meet owners and breeders and learn more about this fascinating cat breed.

Västsvenska Kattklubben is one of Sweden’s oldest cat clubs. Founded in Gothenburg on 19 February 1950, it was also one of the founding clubs of SVERAK, the Swedish Cat Clubs’ National Association.
