Ketil Bjørnstad – composer, improviser, and master of Nordic lyrical melancholy – recently celebrated his 70th birthday with sold-out performances across Norway.
Following the acclaimed live album New Morning, Bjørnstad continues with solo concerts shaped entirely in the moment. With no set programme, the music unfolds through melody, rhythm, tone, and improvisation, created in direct dialogue with the audience.
What emerges is an intimate and deeply poetic experience – a single piano, a wordless voice, and music in its purest form.
