Outstanding bassist Linda May Han Oh has toured and recorded with stars like Pat Metheny, Kenny Barron and Terri Lyne Carrington.  Known for her intuitive and creative playing on both the double and electric bass, in 2022 the magazine JazzTimes named her Bassist of the Year.

Lyrical and rhythmic, yet endlessly varied on both the electric and double bass, she playfully moves between avant-garde, post-bop and jazz-funk.

Her name is on five critically acclaimed albums, including an album that won the Grammy for Best Jazz Instrumental Album in 2023. She has also composed music for indie films and classical works for small ensembles.

Joining her in Gothenburg is pianist Fabian Almazán, who is also her husband; he has developed his own approach to manipulating and electrifying the acoustic piano. Also on stage is drummer Mark Whitfield Jr., who is frequently the clear choice for musicians such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Orrin Evans and Chico Freeman.
