With their upcoming album Crossing Currents on the acclaimed German label ACT Music, Danish trio Little North take the next step in their musical journey. Since 2020, they have released six albums and established themselves as a distinct voice on the European jazz scene.
Working as a collective, all three members compose and draw on a wide range of influences, with curiosity driving each release into new sonic territories.
Crossing Currents was created in New York with vibraphonist Joel Ross and saxophonist Hannes Bennich, blending Nordic lyricism with the energy of the international jazz scene.
In a live setting, the music expands further through collaboration with Dutch guitarist Reinier Baas, known for his rhythmic drive and melodic inventiveness, shaping the music in real time and making each performance unique.
