When the choir MARA vokalensemble returns for the third time with their acclaimed concept Sisters, audiences are treated to everything from powerful choral works to delicate harmonies. This is an evening celebrating sisterhood, where music and a relaxed bar atmosphere come together.

About MARA
MARA vokalensemble is a Gothenburg-based group of female vocalists with a strong artistic focus and extensive singing experience. Their repertoire spans multiple genres, and the group also composes and arranges its own music. For over a decade, MARA has offered audiences choral experiences that go beyond the ordinary in a wide range of contexts, both in Sweden and internationally.
In autumn 2025, they appeared in Gothenburg artist Paperwing’s grand pop opera Age of Pisces at the Annedal Church. In 2021 and 2022, the ensemble performed in the Gothenburg City Theatre’s acclaimed production of Kristina Lugn’s Idlaflickorna, directed by Mellika Melouani Melani.
MARA vokalensemble is led by the artistic trio Lotta Lindgren, Maja Lindgren, and Eira Hjärtstam.
