In a time marked by unrest, polarization, and distance – where conflicts and crises shape our daily lives – we present a work that moves in the opposite direction. ON and ON and ON ON and ON is a powerful reminder of the human need to gather, share, and move together.
The starting point lies in one of our oldest social rituals: dancing together, rhythmically, over an extended period of time. Throughout history, dance has built energy, healed wounds, created belonging, celebrated life, and generated strength. Here, the timeless line dance The Electric Slide becomes a collective practice. Some of Malmö’s finest dancers move in a continuous loop to house music in a warm and intimate setting. The pulse never breaks, the rhythm is constant, and the space vibrates with life. The audience is invited to join on their own terms – sit, stand, lie down, or dance along. Boundaries dissolve, and a shared space emerges where differences meet through the language of the body.
