MASAKA Quartet is an internationally assembled band led by bassist Mats (MASAKA) Sandahl, one of Sweden’s most accomplished jazz musicians. Featuring players from the UK, Denmark, and Korea—all active on the American jazz scene and with strong ties to New York—the quartet presents modern jazz with a distinctly international sound.
In spring 2026, the band will record Mats Sandahl’s debut album as a bandleader and perform two exclusive concerts in Sweden.
