When Melodifestivalen celebrates its 25th anniversary, it makes a natural stop in Gothenburg. On February 6–7, Scandinavium will once again transform into a glittering sea of music and excitement as Heat 2 unfolds on classic Mello ground.

For decades, Scandinavium has been a given stage for some of Melodifestivalen’s most memorable moments. 2026 will be no exception, with a full weekend of rehearsals, a matinée show, and a live broadcast of Heat 2.

The tour kicks off in Linköping on January 30 and then travels across the country before culminating in the grand final in Stockholm on March 7. Gothenburg will proudly take center stage as the second stop on the anniversary tour.
