Midge Ure is finally back on Swedish soil! On March 12th, he returns to Gothenburg with Catalogue: The Hits Tour for a concert at Trädgår’n!

Midge Ure transformed the musical landscape as the 70s gave way to the 80s, marking the end of guitar-heavy rock and punk. Synthesizers paved the way for a new futuristic era, reshaping the pop charts.

He has a career spanning over 40 years – from being part of various “pop bands,” almost joining the Sex Pistols, pioneering work with Visage (with “Fade to Grey” often voted as the best electronic song in its genre in Europe), to the commercial success with Ultravox and his solo albums.

“As much as I love spending time writing and recording songs, and since I was performing live long before I ever got near a recording studio, live will always be my first love. On the Catalogue tour, I’ll be playing not only a broad selection of hits from my entire career but also some of my most requested favorites. Reliving these moments from my life through music and sharing them is something I’m really looking forward to,” says Midge Ure.
