Tomorrow’s handball stars
Norden Cup brings together the very best youth teams from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Finland. Invited teams have qualified through strong performances in national championships, cup tournaments, league play or upon recommendation from their national federations. The tournament is renowned for its high standard and attracts around 2,000 players aged 14–18 each year. Many of today’s top European professionals once competed at Norden Cup.

Norden Cup is played across four sites with a total of ten halls. The main centre and finals venue is Valhalla Sporthall. The other arenas are Lundbystrand, Lillekärrshallen and Kärra Sporthall. Entry is free to all venues.
Youth handball enjoys great popularity in Gothenburg, and together with travelling supporters it creates a fantastic atmosphere in the stands – adding excitement and energy for both players and spectators.
