From 11:00, the area will be buzzing with activities for both adults and children. Visitors can try their hand at climbing, mountain biking and slacklining, whilst outdoor brands showcase equipment and new products for future adventures. Adventurer and speaker Renata Chlumska will also be on hand to sign copies of her book “Towards New Horizons”, about her acclaimed expedition cycling and paddling across the entire USA.
At 13:00, The Outdoor Gear Flea Market opens – Sweden’s largest flea market dedicated exclusively to outdoor gear. Here, private individuals sell second-hand outdoor gear directly from blankets on the lawn. It’s free to take part as a seller and everyone is welcome to join in.
As darkness falls, the evening’s highlight awaits: an open-air cinema on the Nordic region’s largest inflatable screen. The audience will be treated to seven hand-picked favourite films from previous editions of the Banff Mountain Film Festival – the world’s leading mountain film festival. The evening offers an inspiring mix of films featuring everything from family adventures and skiing in deep powder to mountain biking in spectacular landscapes and personal stories from the mountain world.
