PA× Performing Arts Multiplied – Stranger in a strange land

PA× and Atalante host a mixed bill of dance pieces. The theme of the evening, Stranger in a strange land, is inspired by The Book of Exodus. It touches subjects, amongst others, such as alienation and various hardships as well as the delivery from slavery and redemption. What does this mean for you today, in society, family or your own body?

During the evening you will encounter artists with a wide range of backgrounds who approach these topics in a contemporary and personal context, in works by Kyrie Oda, Julienne Doko, Vera Berzak and Patricia Vane. The program consists of premieres by PA× as well as international guests.

PA× was founded 2016 in Gothenburg by Kyrie Oda and Love Hellgren. Their work is characterised by a strong physicality and belief in the expressiveness of movement, with the aim to create life transforming experiences. They mainly work in international collaborations, intercultural dialogue and in close collaboration between different art forms.
