Pumpkin Bowl is one of Europe’s most international flag football tournaments and takes place annually in Prioritet Serneke Arena in Gothenburg during the Halloween weekend. The event brings together players, teams, and supporters from Sweden, Europe, and beyond for a weekend filled with sport, community, and unforgettable experiences.

Previous editions have welcomed teams from both Europe and South America, and the ambition for 2026 is to attract participants from Africa and North America as well. Through its international reach, Pumpkin Bowl continues to strengthen Gothenburg’s position as a destination for sports tourism and global events.

On the road to LA 2028

Flag football is one of the fastest-growing team sports in the world and will make its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Pumpkin Bowl offers a unique opportunity to experience the sport up close, featuring everyone from rising young talent to established elite players from multiple countries.

Bigger than ever

For the 2026 edition, Pumpkin Bowl has the capacity to host up to 60 teams, making it one of the largest flag football events in Europe. Teams compete across multiple divisions and age categories, creating an inclusive environment for youth athletes, recreational players, and elite competitors alike.
