Recirquel returns to Stora Teatern after the acclaimed My Land and Solus Amor, this time with the hauntingly beautiful Paradisum—a poetic and physical exploration of rebirth and the future.
In a world where movement is the only language, Paradisum envisions new life forms—free from pain, memory, and belief. Fusing contemporary dance with breathtaking aerial and ground-based circus techniques, the performance immerses us in a visually stunning and emotionally charged experience.
The stage transforms into a living, breathing landscape—shifting like ocean waves or unfolding like protective leaves. The music evokes ancient prayers and lost cultures, deepening the journey into a reimagined humanity.
Directed and choreographed by Bence Vági, the creator of the cirque danse genre, Paradisum blends circus and modern dance into a new, ethereal movement language.
Strobe lights are used during the performance.
