See You Sunday
Sarah Baltzinger & Isaiah Wilson
New worlds open up in Sarah Baltzinger’s and Isaiah Wilson’s See You Sunday: skewed, humorous and intensely physical. The theme is doppelgangers, and the uncanny sensations associated with them. You are drawn into a surreal realm where humour and anxiety coexist, as characters are cloned, made in inferior copies, or become rivals. The world premiere will be performed by GöteborgsOperans Danskompani in Ludwigshafen, Germany, in October.
The Promise
Felix Landerer
In The Promise, Felix Landerer explores the tensions and contradictions between the real moments that slip past as we yearn for something elsewhere, and those we try to hold onto while knowing deep-down that life is constantly changing. The piece probes the restless absorption involved in the pursuit of unrealised potential, while knowing that tomorrow is promised to no one. At its core is the hope for a deep sense of belonging.
