Welcome into the world of the international music camp Side by Side as the Youth Choir presents a short programme of choral music from its varied repertoire. In the stepped seating at World of Volvo, the music blossoms in beautifully expressive choral pieces that evoke the feeling of summer, all under the direction of Birgitta Mannerström Molin. Side by Side is the world’s largest international music camp, with around 2,000 participants, and Youth Choir at World of Volvo is part of its extensive concert programme, which includes seven other concerts.
Side by Side is the world’s largest international music camp, with around 2,000 participants. It is organised annually by the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and is open to participants aged 7–23. Side by Side creates meeting places where children and young people from different cultures and backgrounds can play and sing together, side by side with professional musicians. The camp promotes the spread of classical music and works to foster tolerance, collaboration, and equality.
