Their new album Reliance is released in January, and with it the band embark on a tour that brings them to Gothenburg for a powerful evening at Filmstudion 2 on 26 February.
Since their official formation in 2010, Soen have established themselves as a distinctive force on the progressive metal scene. With roots in heavy, intricate music, the band have consistently delivered albums that challenge the listener while exploring personal as well as societal themes. From their debut Cognitive (2012) to their latest release Memorial (2023), Soen have demonstrated an impressive artistic evolution. Led by former Opeth drummer Martin Lopez and vocalist Joel Ekelöf, the band have refined their sound from raw progressive metal to a more nuanced and mature expression.
