Sylvesterloppet starts at Heden at 12:00 on December 31. The track is flat and audience friendly. Everyone who passes the finish line gets a medal.
The season adds an extra dimension and charm to the race, with conditions that can vary from bare asphalt to beautifully snow-covered streets from year to year.
The trail
Start and finish at the same place, the middle of Heden. The trail is a 10 kilometres track, along the main boulevard Avenyn, Ullevi arena, Gårda area and The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre.
