After reuniting in 2022 and performing to more than 150,000 fans, the band discovered new inspiration. What was meant to be a one-summer celebration turned into something bigger – new creativity, new music and a renewed desire to return to the stage together.
In summer 2026, The Ark present the ultimate Ark experience: a visual and musical show that distils everything the band have been over the years into pure essence.
Formed in the small town Rottne in Sweden in 1991, The Ark have become one of Sweden’s most influential and charismatic pop and glam-rock acts. Their breakthrough came with the 2000 album We Are The Ark and the hit It Takes a Fool to Remain Sane, which won a Grammis and became a generational anthem for individuality. Several acclaimed albums followed, a farewell tour in 2011, and finally a triumphant anniversary tour in 2022.
Now they return once again – and Gothenburg is one of the highlights of the summer.
