When Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band counted in the first of three concerts on May 3, 2013, at what was then called Friends Arena, Swedish fans were in for an unexpected surprise.

After six songs, Springsteen thanked the audience for the love he and the band had received in Sweden since their first visit in 1975 — and for making them a part of the country’s life and culture. As a gesture of gratitude, the band performed the legendary album Born to Run in its entirety. The crowd’s reaction was unforgettable.

The following night, he repeated the speech — but this time the audience got to hear the entire Darkness on the Edge of Town. And when it was time for the final concert a week later, fans were treated to a full-album hit parade of Born in the U.S.A. from the first song to the last.

At each stop, the featured album will be performed in full. Every concert will also include songs from across Springsteen’s long career — but with one of the albums as the undeniable centerpiece of the evening. The result is three unique concerts, each with its own character.

The band was formed by Petter Isaksson (vocals and guitar) and has quickly become a must-see act for Springsteen fans across Sweden. With passion, musical precision, and strong stage presence, they deliver a concert experience that comes as close as possible to the spirit of the original.
