Bands that once meant everything to someone can never truly die. The Sisters of Mercy, one of the great pioneers of dark rock, are such a band. With only three — albeit masterful — albums in their discography, it would be a clear exaggeration to call them prolific. Yet ever since their debut First And Last And Always in 1985, the band has remained relevant. Not least to the dark-hearted souls who once found solace in their danceable, industrial-tinged rock.
