After more than five decades on the world’s biggest rock stages, Uriah Heep are heading to Sweden for three unique concerts in early 2026. On January 27, the band will play at Göta Lejon in Stockholm, on January 30 at Trädgår’n in Gothenburg, and on February 6 at Science Village Hall in Lund.
The tour is part of the band’s farewell journey The Magician’s Farewell – a celebration of an incredible legacy and at the same time the end of an era. Guitarist Mick Box puts it this way: “Who can believe it is 55 years since the band started? And I know many of you have been with us since the beginning. Well, none of us are getting younger so unfortunately we have made the decision to wind down touring the World starting 2025.”
Uriah Heep are one of the great British rock institutions and helped shape progressive hard rock in the early 1970s, side by side with Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin. With classics like “Easy Livin’”, “Lady in Black” and “July Morning”, the band has built a catalog filled with melodic power, epic harmonies, and timeless energy.
Their career spans 55 years, 25 studio albums, 21 official live albums, more than 45 million records sold, and over 4,000 concerts in 60 countries. From their debut album Very ’Eavy, Very ’Umble (1970) to their latest record Chaos & Colour (2023), Uriah Heep have proven time and again why they truly deserve the title legendary.
Now, Swedish fans have one final chance to experience the band at their absolute peak. Three historic nights for all who love classic rock!
